FALL 2025 ADULT LEARNERS INSTITUTE

We are thrilled to announce that this fall, ALI Michigan will offer another semester of intriguing adult-level classes for the Chelsea area and beyond! We’ll be visiting the beautiful forests of New Zealand, see what’s new in Kenya and Zambia, and explore the diversity of Brazil’s five regions. We’ll also sample some savory pies from the Mediterranean.  Closer to home, we’ll glimpse the history of Saline and Manchester, and chill to some local Chelsea ghost stories and legends. If you want to explore even closer to home, one of our favorite teachers will take us on a journey into the interior working of the brain.

While you are at it, why not explore the right side of your brain with theatrical production design, rain gardens and storytelling? Or delve into the lives and music of Stephen Sondheim or the Beatles?

These program and more are currently in development for our fall semester, beginning in September. Be sure to SAVE THE DATE of August 5, when we will be holding our annual Kickoff at the Chelsea Area District Library, and where some of the instructors will be giving sneak peeks of their fascinating programs.
